Just more Em and Dre production and he will be fine.

Cheers Em for the overpopulated world! I preferred you when you weren't performing miracles & advanced medicine. You should go back to your old style of emotional rapping about being sober, instead of helping people YA DICK! YA FELL OFF BIG TIME.

Relapse? Too much Dre starts to get boring.

Some Dre is good though.

Em, Dre, Porter, Bass Bros. :y:

Relapse is a tough example though based on Em's style at that time. Let's hear Eminem rap over Dre beats right now and i guarantee it will be amazing.

Old Em is 10x more interesting than new Em.

Going Through Changes, Difficult and a few other songs are great though.

I was just watching the Voodoo fest video of Superman / Drug Ballad, and all those songs are are good storytelling songs with a simple beat.

We don't need all these different noises / synth sounds in the beats. Take a look at The Real Slim Shady. That beat is VERY simple sounding, and it fits perfectly.

It's almost like the beats drown out Em's voice and that's why he shouts. Won't Back Down? Perfect example.

I wish he'd produce or work with the Bass Bros again.

that why i like relapse so much.

dope storytelling and it feels like he is actually riding the beat and not shouting over it like he is on a bunch of tracks on recovery.

relapse imo has the best production of any eminem album.

"They thought I'd make another illmatic,
but it's always forward, I'm movin',
never backwards stupid, here's another classic"

If Em went back to way he used to rap, people would complain that he hasn't changed and if he changes and evolves, people complain that he isn't the old Em.

I stopped when you said 'take a look at the real slim shady'

Because that song has no value.

umm...content>tone
anyways, everyone makes such a big deal over it, he n ot even really yelling, its emotion. all the songs on recovery are emotional in some way, really i doubt it would sound right if he just talked it. its not the type of songs he can go all in relapse style, he cant do accents, and wont, and he isnt the same MM from SSLP/MMLP. shit changes. its his way of putting emotion into it, and not just saying it likes its just another track.
