It's Eminem. He'll bring in Superman references whenever he can. Or other comic heroes of his youth.

Don't know if I'd say he's "less intelligent"...but less gifted than he used to be, yes. This stuff used to come naturally to him.

I've defended new Em for way too long now. He's got to tone his voice down, and smooth it out. Ditch the punches unless they are creative and hilarious. Concentrate on unique flows and longer than just 2 syllable rhyming. He's slowly becoming a YM rapper.

It's crystal clear what Eminem's voice sounds like on this. That has nothing to do with the quality of the audio.

Old Eminem would have never, ever rhymed "double stick tape" with "(vege)TABLE dick face."

That is one of the most forced rhymes I've ever heard. Such ugly, messy rhyming. Similar to that awful verse in the unfinished All She Wrote where he tried to rhyme "Nintendo" with "dumb is you" (NUN-tendo)...

But at the same time, we get Stay Wide Awake, Buffalo Bill, Music Box, Going Through Changes, On Fire, Deja Vu.. the list just goes on.

The fact is, he has not lost his rhyming abilities. But I do agree that some of the rhymes is sub-par to the standards that we've come accustomed to with Eminem.

That's what he IS doing, just trying to sound different and experiment. Some people think his experiments are trash, some don't. Buffalo Bill is awesome, though...one of the best accent songs
