Why the hate for eminems "accents"

i personally feel the accents on encore and more prominetly relapse are absolutely brilliant, they add a new depth and flavour to our favourite rapper and allow him to rhyme in new ways. sure i dont want an accent on every single song he does but i have no problem with any of the accents we have heard so far. every time he does sometihng new people seem to pick it to pieces, hes a fucking artist as long as he is going to experiment and as long as its artistic i dont have a problem whether i personally think its a good move or not. Example; all the punchlines on recovery are him experimenting artistically i dont personally think their great but its his fucking choice. Making recovery his most commercial album to date in more than a few ways is NOT artistic and i say fuck it.

The accents were overused and most of them brought the album down. You posted of that other thread the you loved the accent he had on 3am sorry but it ruined the song. Some of them were tolerable though.

his accents get annoying he used it on like every song besides Beautiful on Relapse

may be because it was first time making music off Drugs so he kinda went blazed with it and thought it was creative but no it wasn't

Hello and We Made You are the only tracks where the accent doesn't fit.

Stay Wide Awake, Same Song & Dance, 3 A.M., Bagpipes From Baghdad and Must Be The Ganja are all perfect with the accents.

My Mom, Medicine Ball, Deja Vu, Underground, Beautiful, My Darling, CWYWF, Crack A Bottle and Insane don't have accents.

I don't get the hate either but oh well...

I only "dislike" them if they are unnecesary used for a song. Dejavu is the best example of a song that didn't need accent while Stay Wide Awake is one that absolutely needed it to enhance it.

Thats how I feel. If he didn't use the accents on some of the songs I would've liked the songs more. Like you said, the accents brought the songs down, for me at least.
