So true.

@Devil'sAdvocate

Relapse is better technically, but Recovery does have its songs which are fantastic lyrically. Going Through Changes, On Fire, So Bad and Untitled just to name a few.

i agree here.

but relapse for a concept album abt serial killers/drugs/slim shady is a classic for what it is.

Liking Relapse better than Recovery is the cool thing to do now (even though people bitched about it up until Recovery leaked), but I definitely prefer Recovery. Good lyrics/raw emotion > great lyrics in my book. That's just me though.

Yeah it is great concept wise. I mean it has spawned SWA (which is amazing lyrically), Deja Vu, 3am etc.

But as an album, I do prefer Recovery. It has much more reply value as I prefer the more introspective subject matter from rappers.

IMO Relapse is better in beat choice. Beat's by dre, better host's and better bonus track's. But recovery, it's lyrical bomb.

For me relpase it my prefered of the two. the flows are fucking amazing the beats dont let you down once and i think two deeply personal tracks is enough for an album. Also alot of people seem to miss the mark with relapse he's letting alot of personal shit out through some of that twisted shit he spits, alit of metaphors in there. Recovery is a the one album of his i cant "love" fuck having half jis hooks sung by others, fuck "emo" type lyrics in great abundance i mean seriously only a fag or a girl would pump space bound and not feel embarrassed in the company of others.

I completely disagree with that. :coffee: Space Bound is great. If a guy can't listen to Space Bound without feeling embarrassed, he's probably just overly self conscious.

Whoever thinks Space Bound is a bad song just simply has not experienced love and had their heart broken in the end :coffee:

That's literally the only thing I don't like about Space Bound, is that hook :facepalm

Dont get me wrong some of the lyrics do grab me in a fairly powerful way. But as a song as a whole im not a fan, not saying it has no merit whatsoever. :)
