Handling Depression

Postby Wreck » Jan 24th, '11, 21:27

How do you handle yours, if you have it in general, or when it comes along? Music is probably my biggest thing figuring it out, and it sounds weird, but going to sleep and not thinking about, cause I get it a lot at night too anyway so when I wake up I'm a lot better. Just curious.

What if you meet a girl and she turns you down though? Or doesn't agree for you to have her number if you just met? That always sucks. Just talkin in general here.

Girls are one of the main cause of depression...It's hard sometimes to find the right one.

Each day that goes by I feel like shit but as long as I have a microphone and shit, I'm happy.

I just put some Joe Budden music on, and write to clear my head. Sport is a good distraction as well, clears my mind, too.

I do the same, but usually it makes me feel worse. But I still do it anyways haha. I listen to music too. Just put in my headphones, ipod on, and that usually makes me feel better.

It's funny, we (a lot of us in society) listen to sad, dark, depressing music when we're down, and it makes some of us feel better. It's like a upside down effect to helping with depression. And sports is a great idea I bet. Gets your blood flowing, your energy up, your mind off everything, and doing something fun.
