Sorry, but this is Hip Hop. We started out in a park in South Bronx. I suggest you read Afrika Bambaataa's 4 pillars of Hip Hop, and have some respect for its history.
It's perfectly fine for rappers to show softer sides in their music, no one is suggesting them to "hard" all the time.
Look at someone like B.O.B, he sings, but that's what he's been about all the time, you might ask why he doesn't get hate for that? Because that's his music, it always has been, his creative in that aspect as a songwriter. Drake on the other hand is an actor first, and they are easy to spot out. Drake isn't soft just because of his singing, its because of his upbringing, his attitude, his actions (such as attacking Lil Kim, but avoiding any shots from male rappers), to his comments on Trey Songz and Lil Wayne etc.
Drake hasn't paid his dues in Hip Hop to be allowed to get away with anything yet.
I suggest you get yourself acquainted with this if you haven't already. None of this reflects anything Drake does.

Menzo wrote:shadybaby46 wrote:wow, dude it's hilarious that you diss drake this much bet you watch all his interviews, analyze how he talks and sounds on songs .. kinda lame man. but anyways ..
that's ONE song, fear by drake is just as meaningful and as good if not better in quality, if you ask me.
obviously you haven't listened to anything but his mainstream shit if you think all he raps about is mainstream , seriously he doesn't LOL
the internet? rofl come on man .. internets is booming right now and besides this fanboy site, I don't see any buzz about D12. good fight again, bro.
I ain't even gonna waste my time on this clownStillmatic made you look like an idiot, One Mic made you look like an idiot, I made you look like an idiot.
What happened to third times a charm? Your brain must be clotted cuz there ain't any processing work getting done up there, you make a stegosaurus look like Einstein. ROFL = I'm 13.
You lose.

" I aint even gonna waste my time .."
that's the most used line for someone who's out of REAL arguments for their side of the argument, stop assuming my age, it just makes you look ignorant and like your grasping at straws. how did any of you make me look like an idiot? by stereotyping hip hop to be all about being "hard" as fuck, cause that's bullshit and what makes this artform look bad. If we're gonna be honest here, Eminem is soft as fuck these days but that doesn't stop him from being one of the GOAT. but if all you care about is the brainless "*****" who talk about their guns and being hard as fuck from the hood then by all means stop researching Drake for arguments sake and just enjoy your music. your last comment showed you're nothing but a troll who doesn't even respect a good debate.
I reallyyy regret reading that abysmal piece you call a rebuttal.Just shut the fuck up while you're already behind. I refuse to part take in further feeding your fat ass mouth when you've yet to actually say anything to stump my arguments.
I'm not 'researching' Drake, I don't think anyone is - except you.
And I can't see how Em is soft as fuck. The guy has been in the game for 12 years, he's not gonna have the same hunger and anger and he isn't yearning to earn that respect he so eagerly fought for. But even Recovery has more songs that are way more ruthless than anything from Drake's discography.
I never discredited Drake being a skilled artist, I discredited your claims of him being better than D12. Sorry, maybe in a few years he'll take a different route, but as long as he's under YM's wing, he's gonna be throwing up the same vomit.

Thats a no brainer. For gods sake these two faggots are on the label:
Ever heard their song Baby I Got You or whatever the hell it's called? It is fucking terrible.
Young Money is a joke.

Regardless of whatever derogatory remarks you say about my intelligence, it still exceeds yours considering you can't quote properly, you retard.shadybaby46 wrote:anyways .. you're not researching Drake? but you notice the slightest similarities in his voice with waynes? and you know Hes soft from his interviews? hmm .. strange. I'm not researching him, I simply enjoy his music, therefore know a bit about him.
No, I'm not researching about that fuckin fruit. Just cuz I hear his songs being played by brainless motherfuckers means I'm researching him? Shut the fuck up. The cunt sucks Wayne's dick so much, their DNA has conjoined and they both share abysmal traits.
I'm a fan of Hip-Hop, so if I see an interview of an artist that I don't excessively detest, I'll watch. See what they're doing, who they may collab with, shows, thoughts on current shit. That qualifies as research though, according to your horrendously constructed rebuttal, faggot.shadybaby46 wrote:
Okay, now you're confusing me, I asked you why you thought Drake was soft, and you said it was because of his interviews, how he carries himself etc .. , now you're saying Eminem isn't soft simply because he has some tough songs? I'm the biggest Eminem fan out there, but all those gangsta songs were simply him on drugs, fronting and trying to be something he's not, doesn't make him any less soft.
Your confused? I'm incapable of dumbing it down any further so I suggest your smarten up. I, not being the only one, said Drake was soft because of everything. Eminem has softened but is he soft? No. He's stuck true to his roots since when he started, he may not exclaim as excessively as he used to, but he's still the same fucker.
I never said Em's gangsta songs made him hard, get that out of your fuckin clotted brain. No shit he isn't a fuckin gangster, he never has been...just...ugh...have you ever had to shit so badly as a result of holding it in for too long and you just want it over with? That's how I feel right now when "debating" with you. I really don't want to further elongate this shitfest.
And don't you dare open your hole and say that, "just stop with the pointless..." shit. You just look like more of a pruney cunt. And no, I'm not "mad".
