So I guess we just wasted our time completely even giving this guy the slightest bit of respect thinking he could come up with something that is half debatable.

So at this moment, we are haters because we think Drake is not the greatest thing since sliced bread and we research him because we know more than just his name.

Little fact - No we're not haters just because we simply don't rate an actor with inconsistent music which barely qualifies as hip hop, and no we don't research him when all the big rap websites that most people view have all those news on him daily.

Either way, I'm done with this.
The New York Times - "Lloyd Banks may have stealthily become the most important rapper in New York".

You are female, a mainstream fan, a person who had a Rihanna signature/avatar for a long period of time and a person who only cares about chart positions and sales. You are also a person who would rather have a Eminem & Rihanna EP so you can track it's progress and weekly sales figures in the pop charts, than a Eminem & Royce EP because it would have no commercial value and would be strictly hip-hop. You have also admitted you don't really care about hip-hop, and I'm guessing your favourite rappers are people like Eminem, Kanye, & B.o.B etc (the most mainstream rappers). So yeah, on the basis of this information and character assessment, I totally understand why you "don't get how rappers can be soft"

Oh, and for the record....

NOT SOFT

SOFT AS FUCK

I could provide another 50 examples, but I don't want to spam the thread with YouTube videos.

way to make irrelevant answers, how about answers directly to my question? like I said in my post in the first page of this thread, I understand why people don't like the new-age rappers because their styles are different from the hardcore rap style that most people here love. But just because you don't like someone's certain style doesn't make them suck, I know people who don't like Eminem's music because they can't get into his style but they still know he's a good rapper. Saying someone sucks because they're soft is a lame reason, so kanye, bob, drake, cudi.. are not capable of making good music because they do both singing & rapping? not making sense. And don't bring their attitude or interviews in here cuz that got nothing to do with their music quality. The new-age rappers are making a different kind of hip-hop, that's why I never compare kanye to eminem, and you guys shouldn't compare new-age rappers that rap/sing to 90s rappers, they're different and both can co-exist.

When you're not such an ignorant, generalizing prick I'll take your claims seriously.

I ain't mad, it's kinda funny. Glad we have a lot of comedians on this forum, because she HAS to be joking when she said Drake goes harder than Eminem...

Does she even understand the significance of LTWYL? It's not like the song was written FOR girls, it's just girls tend to like that shit. But they LOVE Drake because he fucking sings "giiiiiiiiirl you the best I evar haddddd"...Yeah, because that shit is SO much better than LTWYL :facepalm
