Rank the Eminem Album Covers

Rank all his studio albums' covers and preferably say why...
Also judge off of the main official covers, no alternate covers.


1. SSLP: It's just a sick cover. I love how it's all depressing looking and the body is sticking out of the trunk. Then it's contrasted by the colorful little kid writing.
2. MMLP: It's also very dark, it really shows his crazy side. He looks like a homeless murderer on the cover.
3. Encore: It just looks cool, a slightly better version of the TES cover. Basically, I like the blue theme better than the red theme.
4. TES: See above
5. Recovery: A lil boring but it is nicely descriptive of the feeling of the album. It goes with the line "nobody knows me I'm cold, walk down this road all alone."
6. Relapse: I don't like it. It's cheesy and the cartoon pill Eminem looks lke a lil boy. The Refill edition is even worse with the white.
7. Infinite: Who'd he hire to make this, Terry Schiavo?

personally i think relapse was the most creative. putting a shit ton of pills together to look like ems face is pretty artistic. obviously infinite is the worst. TES and Encore fit what was going on at the time but as a cover its self its cool but nothing great. recovery gives a good concept of how hes fealing so as a representation of the album recovery gets my vote. sslp is very cool as well showing the 97 boonie and clyde song as the cover basically. MMLP is my fav album and the cover is pretty cool as well. to all but infinite

Infinite - Love it
SSLP - Love the font and the purple
MMLP - I barf at the cover but it's cool how it's gray and the album is a classic
TES/Encore - Same concept basically, they look pretty dope
Relapse - Creative idea but ehhh.. Refill looked better
Recovery - Also a nice creative idea but ehh again.. But better than Relapse

SSLP - Great album cover.
MMLP - Probably one of my favorite album covers. It tells you so much without saying or really showing anything.
TES - very subtle, you know the album is more mature
Encore - eh, I'd rather it been the back cover of the booklet, with him holding the gun behind his back.
Relapse - eh, it's okay
Recovery - brillant, just like someone else said, when i hear the lyrics "walk down this road all alone" i think of that cover.

Damn, you're right. I've had the alternate one on my iPod for so long I just assumed it was the original. Doesn't change my rankings though, it's still sick.

it's 5 in the morning and aint slept yet lol, sorry, aint thinkin straight, kind of pissed at the moment, spent $180 to have this laptop repaired and i might have to spend $75 more to have them re-install everything over again lol

but yeah, i think the marshal mathers lp and slim shady lp are tied for classic, when i first saw the marshal mathers lp cover iinstantly imagined a horror movie
