EminemInsider actually uses words he understands and writes economically. Those of us with a brain understand the words he uses. Eh, not the way the writer is going on about it. It's your typical article trying to prove that author XYZ is smarter and morally superior to Eminem. Do I think that Eminem exploits and perverts a black art form? Well, I would argue that he makes very valuable contributions to the hip hop canon. But IMO the (predominantly white) mainstream press does pay more attention to him (good and bad) and of course his being white is a major factor in his massive sales.

Clearly Eminem knows this, he wrote a brilliant song about these issues after all. As so often with Eminem though, there's no discussion about it just fake moralizing, incoherent rage blackouts and hyperbolic accusations. And because there's no or very little logic in most of these arguments, it all just goes in endless useless circles.

The argument about his being morally regressive is just total BS IMO. I think if you actually bother to pay attention, Eminem isn't glorifying and propagating violence, sexism, homophobia etc. etc. Talking about something, telling a story is not the same as saying "This is awesome! Everybody should try this at home!" Of course, many people insist on taking everything in his songs literally for whatever reason.

Besides, as already mentioned, Armond White has basically made a career out of trolling, so this is no surprise.
