^Villain does have a dope hook.
I love Kaliko's hook on Victory. There's a lot of others but that was the first one that came to mind.

Without even mentioning Nate Dogg, even then pretty much every G-Funk release during that 91-95 period had ridiculously good hooks. I gotta take my hat off to the West there, they were dominating endlessly with quality and entertaining music.

My favourite hook of all time (excluding Nate Dogg) is Lauryn Hill's on "Fu-gee-la". The rhymes and melody to the song is great enough, but Lauryn's hypnotic took it levels not able to reach by 99% of rappers these days. Less = more.
