Yeah, I really did like it. I'm fascinated with the inner workings of the dance world, but you'd probably know better than me whether or not this was even remotely accurate. If people do really go nuts. But I also love crazy people in general, too, and while I def thought there were holes in the story, I thought they did a great job as far as entertainment goes, and the cinematography was on point.

I'm not admitting to anything, but there were some masturbation scenes that may or may not have been similar to activities I may or may not have engaged in with, of course, my biggest fear being my mother walking in. So to sit there next to her while watching those had my paranoia and anxiety levels acting a bitch. Also, I grew up in the Bible Belt and am pretty sure my mother still thinks I'm a virgin. I don't know. We weren't allowed to talk about sex growing up, so to be sitting next to her during masturbation and lesbian scenes just...was weird.

yeah the cinematography was def great. probably the most accurate part about the whole movie was the competition aspect of it, and how hard the dancers were working to get that one lead role. dancers work all their lives just to get the one role, to the point where their whole world is dancing. its crazy, they don't do anything else but dance and push themselves harder and harder. that one scene where natalie portman's character goes home and stands in front of the mirror and does those pirouettes over and over again, and winds up hurting herself, stuff like that happens. as far as if dancers go crazy, i'm not really sure. i was never a professional dancer and i've never danced in a company, but i am sure there are some dancers that would do anything to get that lead role.

I just watched Due Date last night, and I gotta say the movie was funny as fuck. You should definitely watch it (but try to watch it without your mothers, because it has a masturbation scene, and some spitting on dogs).
Overall it's a great comedy, and I recommend it to everybody.
