well whatever the fuck it is its the first official song from detox to get radio play, as still d.r.e was the first song from 2001 to get radio play. thats why i was comparing it to that... saying oh i thought a new snoop and dre collab after ten more years would come hard just like still d.r.e. did ten years after nuthin but a g thang. but... that didnt happen.

It's definitely not. It sounds like it hasn't been probably mixed yet. Em's voice is and not because of the yelling, which is actually pretty dope on this song. But Dre needs to mix Em's voice properly. There's no way this is CDQ, it's a Dre track, it should sound much better than this. Dre is the MASTER of mixing

Well, yeah, no argument there. There are a bunch of huge improvements. I can hear more sounds in the background, and Em's voice doesn't sound like he's recording it in his bathroom anymore. The quality is definitely greatly improved. I just think it's not completely finished, but it's close

Ha yea it did sound terrible before. The reason i was confused is because today is the first time i had my laptop and could hear this version of the song, but on my phone i come on TR and read the topics. so when i saw everyone saying it was the same just without tags, i was suprised when i heard it was actually better quality than the leak.

But anyway yeah i agree now i definately think there will be much more improvements in the cdq

That's impossible because its only like 256 kbps. CDQ is 1144 kbps. (Numbers arent exact I dont think)
