Um no, I don't catch every single rhyme he says the first time I listen. Just like I don't catch all his punchlines the first time.

I'm not trying to sound cool, it's not an impressive skill. How do you not hear rhyming words? If they rhyme, they rhyme. You shouldn't have to pay attention and look out for rhymes.

They're saying they never realized the multis when they looked at the lyrics. They didn't realize HOW they rhymed, not IF they rhymed. It's different. Like when Em rhymes something with a "ing" at the end then continues to rhyme a word and then the word "and" so that it rhymes with the "ing" or "in' ".

Or when he rhymes multiple words in a consecutive order.
Example: "Screaming go/teen year old"

Full of shit? Haha I honestly never realized rhymes were hard to hear. I'm sure I miss some if I'm listening passively with the song in the background, but if I'm paying attention with headphones, I hear it. I'm just really suprised at certain rhymes people don't pick up on, like:

the best rhyming like people mentioned and i agree is in lose yourself, that second verse, holy shit, fuck the end rhymes he kills, he rhymes basically an "O" sound in 3-4 words per line the last 60% of that verse, blew my mind when i finally realized that cause its not common obviously

At first I would only notice the main rhymes and the end of the lines, but then I noticed that he rhymes rhymes ih his rhymes and you can`t cath them all. That would happen after listening to other rappers and then hear Em`s crazy flow.

Great thread. I never noticed the inverted rhyme scheme of SFTM. But I have to say that "rappin" and "standin'" are not rhyming, not even the way he says it in the song.

Also, notice how almost no Recovery rhymes are quoted, just saying...
