all he is saying is that, as an example, instead of looking for talent, em just signed his friends, which they are. He took the easy way out so to speak, he didn't look into other artists, just took artists who he knew and made it easy. I think using "skill" was just to rhyme and to add to the point of not looking for artists "with skill", tho I agree it sounds like he is saying d12 doesnt have skill.

take it for what it is, but since d12 and em for that matter never took it as such I think backs the idea that it isnt a diss. I mean, you could say he was dissing nearly everyone he mentions in that song tbh
