You're right when you say he's consciously switiching his style/voice constantly. But there was an interview where he did the high nasally voice and it sounded fucking retarded now. Something's changed, but I guess that's the age thing like you said.

I dont notice much of a diffrence in his voice, people just overblowing shit as usual.......He changes his cadence and flow on purpose, always did.........But his actual voice isnt really any diffent, go listen to an interview from 2000 & one from now and tell me you really see a diffrence because I dont.

As far as changing it on purpose, could be because when he first came out all people did was whine about how High Pitched and annoying it was, kinda like they whine about the screaming now, lol

If you listen to anything from his earlier days (especially those collabs from '99)...you'll notice the accent haha. Funny how it completely went away. But it does seem that his voice changed a bit. It was a bit more nasally before...and no, I'm not talking about the nasal voice of Slim Shady's character. His actual talking and rapping voice was a bit higher and more nasal.

Nobody knows whether or not he was making his voice like that or he just changed his voice to sound as it does today. Doesn't really matter though. All that's for sure is that there is more that's changed than just the pitch/nasal element—he did lose the accent, which I think is more interesting/noteworthy.
