Fuck-the-words/struck-a-nerve

Since he said "sucker" at the end of the bar, it made it hard to catch.

Here's another one from "Cold Wind Blows"

"Who the fuck is you pushin', you musta mistook me fo' some sissy
Soft punk looking for some nookie or bosom"

took me fo' some/nookie or bosom

Again, his adding words at the end of the bar makes it harder to catch the rhymes.

Also,

Til I hang up the mic and it's time for me to say"
be this way/me to say

All the rhymes are colored with the rhymes in the next line...the only one (never take my pride) rhymes with a line earlier in the song "break my stride"

Exactly. Actually, all of "Recovery" is filled with multies. It's just that him switching up the flow so much makes 'em hard to catch. Shows me that Em definitely still has it, it's just that the topics are different nowadays, obviously.

Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

Recovery has a bunch of multis, more than people realize. Ridaz has a great deal of multis too, but it's a track that's often put down for whatever fucking reason, I love the song, myself

He just needs to improve his flow. It needs a lot of improvement.

I don't think he needs to improve it as much as he needs to just go back to the right flow. Before "Recovery" came out, he said that he was no longer doing what the beat told him to do, he was switching it up and not following the beat...this just means that he already has the ability to flow like we want him to, he just switched it up on purpose.

GTC and LTWYL are my top 2 songs from recovery. Its nice to see he is still doing or at least trying to do what he used to do.

If a rhyme is so subtle and unnoticeable then what's the point of it being there? Half the shit you guys are pointing out barely rhymes, if at all. It's not amazing and magically when you have to read through the lyrics to try and discover forced rhymes. No one noticed them for a reason, they sucked.

The point of it being there is so we notice them, just like we did now.

You dont have to read through anything... but 9 times out of 10 the listener will focus on one rhyme scheme, and you will always go back to that same scheme every time you listen. But when you go back, and actually intelligently pay attention you'll end up noticing that there are rhymes in between rhymes.

and the point of these subtle rhymes is that when you actually DO recognize them, you'll shit bricks. Its a complete mind fuck. After all, when you listen to a song for years and years and then finally discover new rhymes it blows your mind.

And besides, im sure PLENTY of people catch these, just not everyone.

Oh and btw, finding something new\hidden about a song you already like is never a bad thing.... it only makes the song 10x better. Its never going to make it worse.

9/10 times out of ten I pick up on the rhymes on the first listen...it's not rocket science.

I mean look at the fucking rhymes

Screaming go/teen year old

If he actually meant for that to rhyme, that rhyme sucks. Year and ing do not rhyme.

Tackle/man would.

Doesn't rhyme whatsoever.

guess it pours/yes it does

Doesn't rhyme whatsoever.

volcano/all I know/walk away though

None of that rhymes

And inverse rhymes are the stupidest thing ever. It adds nothing to a song.

But those aren't the main rhymes, it's just added in the middle of bars and shit. It's NOT going to hurt. The end rhymes are the important ones, those are just in the middle of bars. Even if it doesn't COMPLETELY rhyme, so what? He still took his time to think of a couple of phrases that somewhat rhyme...again, those are in the middle of the verse, and won't hurt. It just makes shit better.
