Sleeper Cell (Apathy + Diabolic)

So somewhere in 2009 it was announced these two guys were teaming up for a collab album under the collective name "Sleeper Cell". Recently Apathy said he has two projects to finish up, "DGK" and "Honkey Kong", then this whole thing will go into motion. I'm personally very excited for this considering their styles mesh so well. Apathy said he'll contribute a few beats but they'll mostly be reaching out for some production heavyweights.

Consider this thread a reminder and a discussion thread about the project and the rappers.

If they reach out to people like Celph Titled and Immortal Technique for features this is going to be hard to top. I'd personally like to see some Stoupe beats, a Chino XL feature, and (thought not likely) a Copywrite feature.

Knowing Diabolic there will probably be a few Engineer beats which is a good thing.

I really doubt they are going to be able to get a Stoupe beat. Apathy has the Vinnie connection but he's never got a beat before so I doubt it. I also doubt the Copy feature, he isn't connected with any of them unless they get ahold of him through Canibus. But that would mean Canibus would be on the album and I don't want that. I would love some Engineer beats though which I'm sure are a gurantee.

Well considering neither have rapped with Copy, but one of them has rapped over Stoupe, you're wrong.

Very happy about it. Apathy is good in the Demigodz & Army Of The Pharoahs. Diabolic however to me is one of the best emcee's in the game. Liar and a Thief is just none stop punchlines, and Diabolic goes hard every single time. He even kilt Immortal Technique's verse on Diabolical which has some of Immortals best quotes. I think he's an underrated Rapper, even though Liar and a Thief had a lot of braggadocio rap, he done it like a Big Daddy Kane, obviously different but good.
