No you guys are just the most ridiculous blind to the truth fans ever

Stop generalizing. I haven't posted anything in this thread before so you can't refer to me as one of those guys.

A lot of those rhymes, and yes they are rhymes, just stay unnoticed.
One of Eminem's qualities as a rapper is bending words so that they rhyme. He does this better than any other rapper and that's why when you look at the lyrics on paper, some of the stuff posted on here might not rhyme.
But the way he pronounces the words and stretches some of the syllables changes it completely.

Even though I'm bound to agree that some people did post ridiculuos rhymes and some of it surely wasn't meant to be misconcieved as attempted rhymes.

If you have to bend the way you say a word and mix it up just to get it to rhyme...then that's not a good rhyme. I wouldn't want to be famous for trying to force rhymes out of things that don't rhyme

I don't think you're getting my point.

It's not a forced rhyme if he uses it not as an end rhyme but in the middle of a line in order to pep up the rhyme pattern. And this is what it's about, "Eminem Rhymes People May Not Have Picked Up". Eminem isn't famous for rhymes that people haven't picked up.

The amazing thing about this is that nobody else thinks of the different ways to rhyme such words, which is why the verses are more creatively structured and have a higher appeal and that is amongst other things what amazes Eminem listeners.

Stay Wide Awake is overrated, every song from his first 3 albums is better lyrically, and rhyme-wise.

It's still impressive, especially when you take into account it's storytelling as well. Plus he's got to make it flow.

But just because it's got shit loads of multies, doesn't mean the rhyming is more impressive than something with less multies. Quality >>>> quantity.

@Class - He doesn't bend the words (except on Relapse), he enunicates them within his delivery and flow to make them rhyme. He doesn't really say them any different, he just flows it in a way which makes it rhyme perfectly.

'Soul to the devil' doesnt rhyme with 'boy in the bubble' if I just said it. within a flow and delivery he makes it rhyme fine.

'Mr Mathers/just for that stunt' rhymes within the way he flows it.

Whats's the point of limiting yourself to just solid rhymes when you can make other words rhyme without effecting the verse or the words your saying in any way shape or form?

Er, yes it does? You know if Diabolic spit some of the rhymes posted in here, you would be all over it, and rightly so.

The fact prime-Eminem puts that much attention to detail to his rhymes, more for himself than anyone else (it's not like the average teenage girl Eminem fan will be like "Oh my days, I love the inverse multies in SFTM"), shows how much he loves his craft.

It also makes the overall 'sound' of his verses better. Inverse multies/hidden rhymes make what he's saying sound so much better because you hear the connections in the assonance and connsence, whether you pick up the rhymes or not.

Using similar sounding words, whether they fully rhyme or not, is an incredily underrated literay technique, used by some of the best play writes and poets of all time.

Prime-Eminem took this to a new level.

The syllable similarites make it seem like it rhymes...but it doesn't tbh

Oh well, this is worth arguing with you, I actually like you :b:

That "Stay Wide Awake" verse is horrible. I don't understand why anyone would be amazed by that. It's simply written and has no substance. The lyrics are also embarrassing. Skippable track all in all.

@Iris, that's seriously not being full of myself...that's just stating the truth

It's your fault aswell, you're not as innocent as you think.

I might as well start giving warnings.

Yes I am.

I posted

If a rhyme is so subtle and unnoticeable then what's the point of it being there? Half the shit you guys are pointing out barely rhymes, if at all. It's not amazing and magically when you have to read through the lyrics to try and discover forced rhymes. No one noticed them for a reason, they sucked.

Which was on topic of eminem rhymes that people may not have picked up and then we had a little discussion about that until Cosh comes in a posts

2nd verse of Stay Wide Awake lyrically rapes anything that u or anyone else on this board has ever written.

So of course I'm going to defend that. Then Wilymo goes talking shit about my rapping so again, I'm going to defend that.

I haven't really watched you the last months, but I couldn't stop noticing that you have been in many argument/fights the last weeks.

I am of course not saying everything is your fault.

The only topic I took off track was that stupid one in the Hip-Hop demain where he made it just to bash on underground fans. It was an absolutely pointless topic to begin with so who cares

And who cares about arguements? They're fun and it's what a message board is about.
