I read from somebody who knows slug on Rb that he wasn't implying that the waitress was his daughter. Take that for whats it's worth.

slug's daughter? He doesn't have a daughter, lol. Or do you mean implying that the waitress was the bums daughter? I'm not sure if id believe what that person says because of the fact the song alludes to it, and the fact that it's classic slug.
