what a shock that EM is on top, I mean just take a look at the name of this forum, I wonder why people here would vote Eminem over many of the others, except for Pac of course who is a rap god.

Ohh look!!!!! the eminem option disapeared!.

Seriously guys, there no way any of us can say "the best" coz to lable someone
"the best" ud have to have a wide spectrum of knowledge in hip hop. Some of you prolly to this day dont even realise that the art of hip hop is so muchmore than just these popular artists, theres 30 years of hip hop involved.

yes people have a favourites and thats what they usually blindly vote for

JUst keep that in mind. Coz i see so many forums doing the same mistake, all they doing is argueing between who is the best wen their list always has the their favourites only involved.

yer...infact the majority of the real decent rappers are all the same, classed 'rap gods' due to unique style and raps.

The thing is rap is changing and it aint about that no more. Its now the beat that sells a song.

defo, any mc shouldnt. However you got artist like bow wow and paul wall who make it in and through the game purely on the basis of very little ability but just real good producers that sell the tracks.

He is no doubt, pac belongs in the same league as the other rap gods. 2 classic albums, like many good rapers have.

But if u think about it, pac really does get some popularity from death and his controversy. Pac was influential for his time, but judging him as an Mc is another thing.

The underground still got it though.

Wat the game needs is more classic material, to raise some standarts.

i see what you mean.I mean theres so much talent out there now.Had times been different and situations also, would pac still be a ledgend if he was alive and rappin now???? who knows....must be said back in the early 90's pac didnt really have much to contend with.

he prolly would, i actually have no doubt about that.

IN the 90 Pac actually had competition, he was superior coz of his beef with Biggie. Just think about the countless classic albums that dropped in 92-94.
