Lets get this clear. I want recent artists who still rap now. I am not after artists who you think are "sick" cos they rhyme multi's (Though if they do what im after with multi's more power to them). Im not after your latest "Im 16 and it going through that it is cool to love underground music phase". I am after ACTUAL Hip hop. You know? That music that was invented to spread the word and knowledge? The music that was made that actually had a message involved? I don't want the recommendations of artists who made 1 or 2 hip hop songs then went back to the yawn fest about the cars they are leasing.

Who said this is my top ten? I'm just throwing out a variety of recent artists he might like. Drake's lyrical mixtape stuff is very good. If you only know him from TML and the radio, you're missing out.

J.Cole uses some nice beats and has a good "hip hop" feeling in the beats etc but he has the typical "Hood" message that is stuck with most artists.Im sure to check more at some point but am after abit more "awareness" than just there surroundings. Is nice though il admit.
