I mean the United States government has never lied to its citizens. I mean the every major war the United States has ever been involved with has never come from a lie, I mean with the Vietnam War the Gulf of Tonkin situation never happened and everyone just dreamed it, and Pearl Harbour really was an unprovoked attack by Japan against the poor innocent American government which didn't have any knowledge of it or want any problems with Japan despite a memo set that's there in writing which was set up by FDR and Lt. McCollum to provoke Japan by blocking trade and breaking naval codes, and 9/11 was just an attack by terrorists, I mean who cares about proof, writings and videos when Fox News can tell me all I need to know, and that it was Jihadists who are against our freedom!

The government has always kept shit back from the people. They don't divulge everything. They kept the citizens from seeing what was happening at Vietnam, and when the people did see these images of what was going on, they started protesting.
