9/11 is not a conspiracy.
Eminem is not a sell-out.
apparently being successful = sellout here?
I dislike wayne's music,i find it bad,but collabing with him is not selling out.
if so,then if raekwon or tech n9ne or slaughterhouse collabed with Em,are they sellouts too?
cuz Em brings sales and money and exposure?
a pretty fucking stupid logic if u ask me.

Funny thing is 90 % of all underground artists would love to work with someone like Rihanna in order to make their music/lyrics hit a broader audience.

He already has a billion fans, he doesn't need anymore exposure. Why collab with guys like Drake, and Wayne, isntead of guys like Nas, Wu, Andre, Lupe Fiasco etc. There are a ton of mainstream lyricists.Funny thing is 90 % of all underground artists would love to work with someone like Rihanna in order to make their music/lyrics hit a broader audience.
You'd have a point with guys like K.R.I.T., Gibbs, Jay Elec, but not with guys like Slug, I.T., and a shit ton of other underground artists.

The selection of beats doesn't make him a sell-out any more than collaborations do. If he did sell-out, his lyrics would be watered down. And they're not. You can say they're not as good all you want, but Eminem did not water down his lyrics. Cold Wind Blows is a good example. He still TRIES to be offensive and not kissing everyone's asses like an actual sell-out would do. The ONLY part that I actually agree with you on is apologizing for old albums. He obviously did that not for himself, but for the media and his casual fans. The beats are more appealing to a wider audience, but if you're one who cares about beats over lyrics (which you don't, from what I can tell, unless that's just a front) then the beats SHOULDN'T matter to you, so why even bring that up?
Tech = sellout too? He's collabing with Wayne. That's pretty retarded.
