McCarthy's 2nd goal for Wigan is just...wow. I mean Tiote got a sweet left foot volley from range but... i was in awe of that goal. Been a weird but wonderful season in general (obviously who you support may vary your view) but wow. I actually get the the term, "There are no easy games" now.

Sunday has a lot to live up to

Our unbeaten record was ended, but at least that pressure is off now. Shame really but I did not really expect to go the whole season unbeaten- this team simply is not good enough.

And i really cannot believe how many games in the league we have been dominated in midfield.

Stat at the end of the first half showed that Wolves had completed more than 30 more passes than us. That is absolutely astounding. Wolves are a shit football team and they kept possession of the ball better than we did.

Fergie really needs to get his finger out and sign some serious midfield talent this summer.

I hope we will improve our game in the next matches

And btw Torres is not kissing the badge there, he bites it

Watching 2nd half of Chelsea-Liverpool now, 1st half was shit.

Weird to see Torres in that Chelsea shirt, especially against Liverpool.

One of the worst matches of the season for us. Mistakes followed by mistakes followed by mistakes... Drogba, Frank and Essien were nowhere to be found, I don't know what's been causing their lack of motivation. I kinda expected that kind of performance from Torres, he's debuting against his former team plus he's only had like 2-3 training sessions with his new teammates.

Midfield = shit. No creativity, no nothing. The only one who was actually running and trying was Anelka. Tactic = shit. Who the hell decides to put two DMFs in the starting team against fucking Liverpool? It's obvious that ever since Wilkins left, Carlo has been lost. He's just not the right manager for the EPL, we need Hiddink back...

This...

... was completely unnecessary, I mean, they are professionals and they shouldn't be that emotionally driven while being on the pitch. They can sort things out in the dressing room.

The whole defense line was so disorientated, no communication between them at all. Only light point was Luiz, the man was so calm, it's like he has been playing for us for 2-3 years. If he continues that way, I'm sure he'll be better than Carvalho in his glory days. I don't even want to talk about Cech's reaction when we conceded the goal. It was a pathetic decision and was painful to watch.

Marriner is a disgrace, he doesn't even deserve to be talked about.

After the three wins in a row, I actually hoped that we could win the title. But, after today, the best we can do is fight our way to a CL slot for next season.

Up the Chels!!!

Said this for ages, he's the worst refs in the league. Been terrible for so long. How he's not been demoted yet I don't know. Didn't think he was that bad today, although he wasn't great.

Mark Halsey is probably the best ref in the league, actaully communicates with the players.

BTW, anyone think Mereilles was absolutely class today. Pretty much ran the game first half.

I just realised the Champions League final is being held at Wembley this year.

I am definitely going. It's a must.

Media was so hyped over Torres, i get he's playing his former club but talk about over saturation of one piece of news.

Chelsea lacked width. I generally don't get the diamond formation, you'd know the match is gonna be decided on the midfield so to have Anelak as a Alternating 3rd Striker/drifter seemed weird, especially when Liverpool are crowding the midfield out with their 3-5-2 formation which exploited chelsea's lack of width. Anchelotti (if that's how you spell it) didn't help himself tactically opting for 3 fowards

I just got a flashback of a few moments from when Ballack was a blue. Damn, I miss that guy, he really played with his heart.

I already knew Christian Eriksen was a special talent but after last nights performance against England anything less than a new Michael Laudrup will be a disappointment.

When I think about it, danish football has actually produced some really good talents in recent years: Daniel Agger, Nicklas Bendtner, Christian Eriksen, Simon Kjær and Anders Lindegaard. Mathias Zanka Jørgensen has a bright future ahead of him too. I have probably forgotten a few ones.
