No, not really. 3AM, My Mom, Insane, Bagpipes From Baghdad, Hello, Same Song & Dance...ya know, actually all of those songs are better. Especially Deja Vu and Stay Wide Awake, the two widely considered to be the best off of Relapse. Lyrically, flow-wise, production-wise, Relapse rapes any Wayne album, literally, and leaves them all face down in the mud, with their assholes bleeding

Atleast Em tells stories when he raps and doesn't ramble on about having bathrooms to shit all day.
Like WTF is that shit? Am I suppose to take him seriously after he says that? :n:

Why is this suddenly Eminem vs Wayne, LW4L is trollin' yall just let it go.

OT: Ain't Nothin But a G Thang. The lyrics are simplistic as fuck, this song talks about nothing at all and some of the shit doesn't even make sense. The beat MADE this fucking song. How people consider this shit a classic i'll never know.
On a yearly basis rather than all time Tipsy, Get Low, Lean Wit It Rock Wit It, Crank Dat, Lollipop, Swag Surf, You're a Jerk, Teach Me How To Dougie also come to mind, club bangers full of garbage that are popular for a year and then forgotten about completely.

You're thinking..."these bitches need some good music", so you put your Lil Wayne album in and he's rappin' bout bitches, flashy cars and monay, so 'erybody's happy. You put some Eminem shit on and soon as it gets to the tenth second, the bitches start trippin' and think you gone rape em. It's like soon as 'Same Song & Dance' comes on, 'erybody trippin'.

I like Relapse but this is so true. It's funny how a shit load of good music is embarrassing to listen to.

Anyone who values lyricism and flows knows this :coffee:

Are you serious?

Tha Carter 2 Flow & Lyrics>Relapse
Tha Carter 3 Production and features>Relapse
Tha Carter Content>Relapse
Tha Carter 3 popularity & Sales>Relapse
Tha Carter 1,2,3 reviews>Relapse

Should i continue? :king:

Relapse is better then Carter1,2,3 in anyway imo:production(lots of Dre beats :worship: ),flow and lyrics(are you kidding me?there was nothing wrong with the flow or the lyrics on Relapse) Content(if your not into serial killers then yeah maybe),popularity(weezy was abt the only rap artist more known at that time and Em didnt had any album out in that period) and dont even get me at those dumb reviews(and im not talking only about Em and Weezy's albums).I suggest u wait and see how Carter4 does then start venting and bragging
Fans like u make me actually cross the "i dont care/listen" line to "i hate" Weezy even more, specially when they start comparing albums like this.
Anyway thats just my opnion :coffee:
Stan out.Rant over.

Got to disagree about G Thang. That song alone changed to whole rap game. Lyrics might be simple and dated now, but when it came out most people didn't even know what the G stood for.

Outkast - Hey Ya. Good song but people started calling Andre 3000 a music genius when this came out, it's ok but it didn't deserve all that.

Eminem - My Name Is. Didn't like it back in the day and still don't. Always thought it was kind of annoying.

It was one of the first songs to change the rap game in a negative way, one of the first steps towards the commercialization of hip hop. Almost 20 years later and hip hop is almost entirely dominated by the mainstream music industry that promotes wack bullshit on the radio. Thanks for that one Dre, really we couldn't have done it without you.
