Twitters Mentioning Em Official Topic

On an average night (now is the perfect example), there is a Tweet mentioning/referencing Eminem every 2 or 3 seconds.

Just search 'eminem' in the bar and you will see;

http://twitter.com/#!/search/eminem

Does this mean it makes it a lot harder for 'Eminem' to be a trending topic?

That's for any popular celebrity though. Search JB, Gaga, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj...etc, and there's tweets about them every second too.

I don't know why it's so hard for Em to be a trending topic, but it's really weird. After the Grammy performance, Dre and even Skylar were trending right away, but it took longer for Em to trend. After the super bowl ads, 'slim shady' was trending, but 'eminem' wasn't. Doesn't make sense at ALL.
