You know what, I hadn't heard anything Kim said about Nicki, I said I wasn't going to bother. I did this because I didn't consider this Kim to be that Kim of the past. Don't get me wrong, Nicki is garbage and a gimmick, but Kim was just embarrassing herself with some of her coonery.

So I just listened to this song for the first time, take all the bullshit aside, that's a fucking great diss. I don't know how she did it, but this brought out a side of Kim not out for at least 7-8 years.

The sad thing here is that Kim can't win this at all. We live in a different era. We don't live in the era where the better song will get more attention than the 'hotter' artist. We live in a era now where beef is only decided over what's more played on the radio, and who has more news articles about them.

This beef isn't even hip hop. Kim's trying to bring it down to hip hop, but Nicki and her people have taken it to the other side into the mainstream and pop side so there's no way at all Kim can win this.

So if the Jay-Nas beef was now, Jay has the advantage before any song is ever released. It's not a fair fight to begin with. Hip Hop is so commerical now that the new fans have overtaken the hardcore fans by strength of numbers.

- Secondly, a lot depends on Jay-Z. Which direction he wants the beef to go. If he makes it purely a hip hop beef, where it's songs like Takeover and Supa Ugly, then Nas has a chance, because we're keeping it within the genre. But if he does what Nicki Minaj did and have the diss in her bigger and more marketed songs, then Nas wouldn't have a chance at winning it in terms of general perception.

- Finally, and continuing on from the first two points, this all leads to which gets the bigger attenion, and of course it's going to be the artist who has more buzz and gets more public notice. I mean most of the people in this era get their info from this Nicki v Kim beef from people like Perez Hilton. What credibility do people like this have in hip hop? None. That's why its bullshit.
