First are impressions are everything though, Yelawolf is meh though. He's alright I guess, I prefer Krit in terms of up and coming rappers. Yeah I know that didn't have anything to do with the thread just felt like throwing that out there, he also was featured on his album last year. (dope album btw).

Yeah but have you truly listened to his stuff or given him a chance...

Because on that logic, somebody's first impression of Eminem could be "Just Lose It" and they think he's an idiot and not check anything else out. But they'd be missing out on one of the all-time greats.

I think it's silly to take that very first impression based on limited exposure as the final word on somebody. I thought he was just alright too, until these mixtapes.

I am really looking forward to hearing his album. Trunk muzik 0-60 has some really good tracks on it, and I've heard those are not even the best tracks he has recorded. There's some weak stuff on it too but with the right guidance from Eminem and musical/lyrical vision, he can really get to a crazy level!

I gotta give him some props for collaborating with so many legends too! He has already collaborated with better emcees than Em has done for most of his career. Big Boi, Raekwon, Tech n9ne, Bun b etc. I know he is trying to get his name out (hence the Gucci Mane track) but the fact that those guys want anything to do with him just shows how good he is - apart from the Tech n9ne track, they were all recorded before he got signed to Shady.

But, you'll be surprised by his... knack for general rhythm and chorus' I think, on these first two. I think this really extreme nasal machine gun flow is just a temporary indulgence. I think he can take it many places, gonna be interesting.

Insults aren't childish by definition. Calling you a dick face is a release of momentary anger directed towards you, the insult itself is trivial it's the emotion that counts. Even adults get angry - so, you fail again.

What's childish is what you do which is...
- Purposely go around dismissing Eminem and acting like you hate him, or constantly remind people you do because you're paranoid of looking like a 'stan' and want to let people know you know other hip-hop so your ego is in-tact.

So, you overcompensate by being overly dismissive of anything Eminem related and are defensive and pathetic by constantly calling anybody else who likes ANYTHING he does a 'stan'. You call anybody who dares not to hate him a 'stan', or imply he's all they listen to.
