Worst Rap Albums YOU Have Personally Heard

Postby Satire » Feb 23rd, '11, 13:26

Not the ones that you "heard" were shitty from a couple people on the forum, not the ones from rappers you know are shitty, not the ones with the bad reviews on Wikipedia. The bad rap albums that YOU have personally heard a good amount of (Atleast 40%+ of the album).

That being said, I don't listen to alot of shitty music but these are the worst albums that have ever been in my library.

Not really that bad, but it was meh.

^Piece of shit.

I take back whatever I said, this is worse than Encore. I'm not sure if this even counts as rap though so..
Image
This wasn't that bad tbh. Mediocre flow, below average lyrics, but atleast the production/hooks were a huge :y: :y: :y:

808s don't count as a rap album!

Kingdom Come-Jay-Z
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy-Kanye
Rebirth-Lil Wayne
Relapse-Eminem
Before I Self Destruct-50 Cent
Thank Me Later-Drake (Not that bad, just really not that great.)

Some of the most disappointing albums:

Old dirty bastard - Return to the 36 chamber
RZA - Bobby digital in stereo
Royce da 5'9" - Death is certain
Talib Kweli - Train of thought

^^Not popular choices at all, especially not the latter, but they didn't live up to my expectations at all. I'm a huge Kweli fan so I'm gonna give his album another chance someday...

EDIT: I probably shouldn't have added train of thought... Definitely gonna give it another chance now haha

It is not that often I hear a really bad album because if I don't like the first couple of tracks, I won't finish it.

SAY WHAAAAAAAAAT?

This album is amazing, from it's production to it's rhymes, it's Royce's top 2 album with Rock City. So you're telling me the album that brought Hip Hop produced by Preemo, Throwback, Regardless, and two legendary songs recaptured by Royce, Beef & Bomb 1st is wack? Are you crazy? The source gave it 4/5, HipHopDX gave it 4/5, AllHipHop gave it 4/5, and you're telling me it's wack? LOL. Royce has only one album that's bad and that's Street Hop.

L.A.X. is Game's second best album, how the hell was it disappointing?

Definitely agree with Nastradamus.

Lyrically it is just really boring. The rhymes, flow and production are good but he isn't saying anything of any real importance.

I honestly don't care about what critics think :P Why do you?

Nothing is wrong with it's lyrics, it's great.

Me give a shit about a critic? lol you obviously don't know me. I can listen to that album from start to finish without skipping shit. That's why I even bothered defending it, because I love that album and I know it's great.

@ThomasJ Not saying I find every track boring but too many songs werent my cup of tea.

@Xray Easy, I wasn't having a go... Why is it so wrong of me to believe you care about critics when you mentioned several reviews?

I don't. But it seems like so much people on here do, so that's why I mentioned it.
