TBH I actually think he made it up. He was really fucked up back then and needed something to rap about so he made up a story. Still a good song I just think that he would have talked about this in his first 4 albums if it were true.

he said "say fuck you mother" at the Home and Home Concert most likely for that reason. He reconciled with her a while back I believe since she has cancer or something.

I think there's plenty of stories Em hasn't told yet. When you think about it he very rarely gets specific. He says general stuff like how his mother was just "fucked up". And he builds around that. But it's not too often that he actually goes in and says "she's fucked up, and here's an example".

Let's not forget the whole story on Insane. The guy had a hurricane of a childhood. There's plenty of stuff we have yet to hear.

Nah that was probably real, his mom made up a bunch of other shit & lied to him about it so why would he make that up? It is weird how he never mentioned that anywhere though. Not in any songs, not even in his book.
