Great albums with awful album covers?

Seriously? I would hang a poster of The Infamous on my wall any motherfucking given day. I can't think of one album that I can list here. Mainly because I don't listen to rappers that think they're pretty, or have pretty covers. In my books, the more rugged and raw your album cover looks like, the more you're respecting hip hop.

I like The Infamous don't get me wrong bro, perhaps I'm wording it wrong. It's not bad persay, but P doesn't really look like a the type of guy that would knock you out despite all his raps (which are great), idk it's hard to explain. I think if I had to use an album that looks rugged and was able to keep that noir sound (not as good as The Infamous though) it'll probably be this

Yeah I know what you mean, but regardless, I'd still post that on my wall just because they're one the greats of their time. M.O.P is fucking beast though, that's one of my favourite albums. Flawless, from start to finish, and those preemo beats are fucking nuts.

I know a lot of people don't like the Relapse album cover, But I think it fits perfectly. It shows how Em was made up of drugs how they controlled him and they made him who he was during that time period of his life.

I don't know what's going on in this cover, but it's very random. Sitting on the back of a boat, and apparently that means "follow the leader"? Maybe he means hip hop is washed up? lol?


This album is more recent than "Follow The Leader" and yet it looks like they travelled back in time.


I lol'ed. Busta is one funny motherfucker, but still, that cover is horrible.

But yeah, Stillmatic cover is awful. In fact, every Nas cover except for God's Son is pretty lame. 2001 by Dre is horrible too.
