Apollo Brown - Clouds (instrumental album, 2011)

Apollo Brown of The Left has released an instrumental album called Clouds this year. I've listened to half of it so far and it is really brilliant! Push is probably my favourite track so far :)

Without a doubt the most exiting young producer at the moment. Remember to check out The Left's album Gask Mask too.

Just saw it got released a couple of days ago so it is brand new stuff! If someone hadn't made a thread about it on wutang's forum (I think I've seen you post there :zipped: ) I probably wouldn't have known either.

Could you imagine if Em came across this guy?

Him doing half the beats on an Em album for the new age "old school" sound with Em/Dre doing the rest would be immaculate.

Will download this later. The Reset was my sh1t. Loved it. I'm the type to need rhymes though, not a huge fan of instrumentals, would have liked him working with some more underground upcoming rappers, but this will do for now.

Basically just Eminem and any legendary producer would be cool now that we're getting used to Boi-1da :zipped:. He has reached out to Premier in the past so I think there's a chance that some of these "old school" beats could end up on one of his albums in the future.

Normally I'm not a fan of instrumental albums either but I thought I should spread the word about Apollo Brown. I bought the album yesterday on the label's website for 8 dollars. I'm quite old fashioned so I normally never buy mp3/flac files (cd/vinyl = :y: ) but it was simply too expensive to get it shipped to Denmark.

EDIT: This one is ridiciously good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_2mnMn0byo

Just saw that the label is giving another instrumental album away for free on their site. Check it out.

The instrumental album called "Apollo Brown - Make Do" is incredible. The tracks The Machine & Gold Medal are among my faves.
