What I like about him is his melody driven flow which he constantly changes so it never gets predictable. Rhyming is decent and his story telling isn't the worst to say the least. Lyrically he can be a little boring at times but when he is at his best, he is really good (+ what I said before about his mixtape tracks being leftovers). What I like the most about him is that he represents a different world than we normally hear about in hip hop (originality = ).

I think he's decent enough. I like a few songs from him, and his 2.0 verse actually wasn't all that bad to me. His voice was terrible, I'll say that, but actually listening to what he's saying...it wasn't bad.

I guess it all comes down to your ears. When I first heard his verse on 2.0, I was like WTF!? It sounded like shit, I wasn't used to his accent and all that nonsense. But after 3 or 4 listens and actually focusing on what he was saying, it sounded really well.

He's one of those guys who will either grow on your or won't - simple as that.

Exact same thing happened to me when I first listened to Pop The Trunk.. Then I literally sat down and listened to it like 100 times and finally got used to his style/accent and it sounded great. Then that Good To Go video came out and I was like SHIIIIIIIT this is crazy..

I guess that's why it resulted in me liking his 2.0 verse

...the Yellawolf hype. Dude's garbage, he's wack, at least, to me he is. Especially on that '2.0 Boys' track, his verse was garbage. I get the accent thingy, Alabama shit etc, but his lyrics are wack, his delivery was bad, and his flow wasn't even good enough. Why again did Eminem sign him? Just because he's different?

I gaurantee you the only reason Class is calling him wack is because every rapper he listens to is a better rapper than him. That's understandable because you enjoy nothing but the best but when you listen to BoB, and then say Yelawolf is wack, then your judgement is clouded by his accent, his beats and his recent popularity. BoB is a hundred times a shitter lyricist than Yelawolf, BoB is a cheap imitation of Kanye, NOTHING original about him. Where as Yelawolf might not be all that great in lyrics, but his style is much more authentic.
