I must have really established myself as a P stan to get a comment like this in another forum as well, lol. Except I rocked a P set over there for a while so it's understandable.

While I do love Mobb Deep more than the average fan it's still a shame that he fell off, of course being the stan I am I'd listen to anything from them so long as it isn't complete trash.

Over the last 3 years that he's been locked up, hip hop has had a huge shift toward the culmination of a slow, methodical softening of hip-hop by the infiltration of R&B, techno, and indie rock. There's hardly any real street aggressive music, which is what at the top of hip hop's roots and history, it was made by the people for the people, but now it's being stolen away from those people.

Hip hop dreadfully needs Prodigy back, just as it needs the likes of DMX back.

I kind of agree with this which is why I liked the album K.R.I.T. Wuz here, so much last year. Though I hate to be that guy, but eh I doubt he'll have any mind blowing raps. Still being a Mobb Deep stan, I'll bump whatever he puts out so long as it isn't complete trash.
