Hmm...I hope he is and I hope he hasn't lost any confidence. Plus a broken leg may have taken a yard of pace off him. Could be problematic as he was beating most defenders last year with a turn of pace. Oh well hopefully get Rooney scoring again, I think a fair few of his goals came from Valencia crosses last year?

I highly doubt Arsenal will beat Barcelona tomorrow.... 0 - 0 would be awesome, honestly. Gonna be hard, Van Persie is injured, too.

Was really looking forward to watching the game but been drafted into work :facepalm
I can see Arsenal struggling, Song out, Fabregas fighting to be fit. Walcott out, even Messi saying his pace was frightening. Bendtner up front? Can't see him bagging a goal.

Sucks to be at work during the match, man.

Fabregas has to play, without him the team is shit. Yeah, I've heard Bendtner gonna play up front.... He has his moments, but I can't see him scoring either. Gonna be a tough game.

Its the way of the world that the majority will support the best teams. If you have no real reason to support anyone (family/location - and even location doesn't always seem to matter) then obviously you will support the team thats winning stuff. I support City because my Dad does, and as a result I have had to watch a lot of bad football, but I'v never really thought of it that way. I'll support them no matter what so it doesn't really matter if we are shit.

Anyway, the point is that I think this discussion is quite representative of the real world really, even if it would be nice to have Wolves, West Brom, Wigan, Doncaster fans posting as well.

Yes you have a point. The great thing about you in England is that every town has more than one team, and the football is on another level. My hometown doesnt have one and bulgarian football is really painful to watch. I really dont know how did i became a United fan, but i am one since i remember myself, maybe when i was like 7-8 years old. At that time the only football games you could watch was the CL matches, so i didnt know of existence of many teams only the one who were playing there. Why did i became there fan? i dont know, maybe because of the red color, my favourite bulgarian team is red colored so probably thats the reason. :D

Yeah the midfield just falls apart. Bendtner is nowhere near Champions League calibre, scores a hattrick goes missing for 6 games. Is Chamack in the squad?
