Favorite duo?

Postby dead prez » Mar 8th, '11, 02:13

Yeah self explanatory, sorry for the shit poll options but I can't enter anymore duos. So which is your favorite? If it's not there than state whichever may be your favorite.

My favorites at the moment would be Binary star, well mostly for One Be Lo dude is sick. Has one of the best multies I've heard in a while. Next would be Blackalicious and Zion I, though everyone know my all time fave would be Mobb Deep. :smoking:

Outkast for me

Rae and Ghost, Mobb Deep, Clipse and Organized Konfusion make up my top 5
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

Props for Organized Konfusion :y: , I forgot about them there was a long list of duos I would have added in the poll if more options were allowed, but I didn't remember them.

Pharoahe Monch is one of my favourite rappers, whenever I see a thread like this he instantly enters my mind - props on Binary Star :y: Reality Check was one of the 1st non mainstream rap songs I heard, insane shit

Man, there are so many sick duos in hip hop, M.O.P, Gangstarr - shit you're bound to have a few slip your mind - thats what the other option is for :y:

Yo Xray you've ever heard this rare Mobb Deep song? Well it's not really theirs, but it has Prodigy in his prime and it's one of his best verses next Shook Ones, HOE, Nighttime Vultures, 3rd verse on Quiet Storm. He wrecks it, and used multies like I've never seen him use it before.

If you did than nevermind, but nothing's more satisfying than finding rare Prodigy verses in his prime when you just about went through his whole catalgoue, though I still bump HOE to this day and plan to for a long time. :smoking:

Yeah I've heard it, it's a crazy song, I even used to have the acapella to it and was gonna make a remix to it. I used to go on google and hunt night and day for unreleased P verses, some days. Mobb Deep have SO MANY unreleased stuff it's crazy. And most of the stuff is hotter than their releases. I want to start hunting again. :smoking:
