I like the stuff that isn't cheesy, dudes like Toby Mac (and he's barely hiphop) generally suck.

T-Bone
Mars Ill
Lecrae
LA Symphony
Grits
Tunnel Rats
P.O.D.

^All great hiphop, whether you're religious or not.

Saying Pac is a Christian rapper is like saying DMX is one.

Lecrae is one of the most versatile artists I've ever heard. His flow is impeccable. with his level of skill he could have easily made it mainstream on some lupe type shit.

Toby mac makes good music. Whether its lyrical or not doesn't matter. It's good music. there's no "barely hip hop" it's either hip hop or it's not. And how do you like grits but not toby mac? He does alot of work with them.

I know, Toby has some dope songs, but a lot of them just suck to me. Too cheesy. And I meant most of his songs are pop/rock, not rap.

I can't listen to someone rap about Christianity (or any religion for that matter) & take them seriously.

Why? Music, especially hip hop, is all about expressing yourself. If religion is a huge part of your life, why not? Hip hop has always had many religious themes.
