He definitely needs more quality control - when he is at his absoloute best, he is a beast...and has released some great music. But due to his high workrate and his desire to just put out as much music as possible, and all of the hundreds of collabs he has done in his career jumping on everything, he is sacrificing QUALITY for QUANTITY.
I've got a good feeling about Carter 4 though. '6 Foot 7 Foot' was quite dope.
Agree with all of that except the 6 foot part (can't stand that song). I'm sure the C4 album is gonna be as good as his prime stuff if he makes a couple of more serious tracks for it (instead of all that bitches and money bullshit nobody cares about anyway).
The Beastie Boys aren't that great rappers either but they have so much attitude and charisma that you can't dismiss them. When Lil Wayne really is at his best his style is quite original and think people should appreciate that.
