I gotta go with Jay-Z's "Hov! haha yeah, itscha boi! Yuppppp!" and let's not forget the infamous "AWWH" :worship:

Biggie's "baby-babyyyy" comes second.

There's something about 50 Cent just saying the word "yeah" or even just "Fitty Ceent!!" over a hot beat.

And of course Eminem's "chicka chicka chicka Slim Shady!"

Nah, dude.. That's New York slang. They didn't start that. I can't tell you where it originated, but they're old as shit. I mean, pre-mobb / nas times.

I'd say Joel's Yaowaa and Joey's "unnh"

It's not really about who started it. It's about who took it and made something like a signature feature out of it.
Just like Michael Jackson invented the moonwalk.

Not really sure if dead prez was aware of that of course.

Jadakiss, easy for me.

".....aHAAAAA...."

or DMX.

"grrrrrrrrr....woof wooooof"

or

Juelz

"Dipppppppppppp........SET......ayttttt"

I used to love it when 50 was coming up and the way he would say G-Unit, he doesn't say it much at all anymore, but recently he's said a few times on the freestyles. I like that it wasn't just me who liked the way he said it, it trended on twitter in NY too lol.

"G-g--g-g-g.........G UNIT"
The New York Times - "Lloyd Banks may have stealthily become the most important rapper in New York".
