then why even bring that entire rant up? completely useless post you made that didn't address anything this thread has brought up
Um, my post was on topic, buddy. The name of the thread is "Why do you think Em went a more popish route with recovery?" I was explaining how I don't consider it pop. That's definitely on topic. And address...what? Sales? This thread hasn't even BROUGHT UP anything. Sales has nothing to do with Recovery as an album. I was disagreeing, so suddenly it's a useless post because I don't agree?
It's not the topic. Recovery is without a doubt his most popish album. If you argue this then you are more than likely under 18.
I've admitted before that Recovery is his MOST MAINSTREAM album. Not pop, there's a difference. Mainstream doesn't equal bad. If I wasn't on topic, then what is the topic? You have the name of the thread, which implies an argument about Recovery being "popish", then in the OP all you do is talk about sales, which has nothing to do with the title. You haven't even backed up anything you've said about Recovery, you made a statement then expected us all to agree with it. Sales doesn't affect how "poppy" an album is. You're more off-topic than I am, and you made the goddamn thread.
I'm not under 18, but so what if I was? That doesn't make any difference.
So, I do not consider Recovery "pop." I consider it mainstream. There's a difference.
