Best story telling song on each album

Postby Wreck » Mar 17th, '11, 07:04

SSLP- to me it's between Brain Damage & Guilty Conscience, but ima go with Brain Damage cause I think it 's a way better story telling song, plus a little bit of it is true as far as the constant bullying goes.

MMLP- Stan, even though Kim is pretty funny and good of a storytelling song, but doesn't compare.

TES- Cleanin Out My Closet.

Encore- Yellow Brick Road.

Relapse- 3 AM.

Recovery- Love The Way You Lie, or Talkin 2 Myself.

what's your favorite/or what do you think are the best?

Just a song about how much of a bitch his mom is, it's not an actual story.
Sing For The Moment comes close to being a story though.

Just wanna make a few things clear! (get it?)

The story telling and the picture he paints in "Kim" is sooo much more vivid than "Stan". I mean, I can really see Em and Kim in the car and the truck and all that shit. It's so ridiculously good, it's not even funny.

Spot on. Except I'd replace Insane with Deja Vu
