I walked into my living room, where for some reason MTV was on. And my ears, for the first time, heard "Pretty Boy Swag" by Soulja Boy.

...I live on the 16th floor of a Houston hi-rise. I sat there dumbfounded as I stared at the screen. As an artist myself with big dreams, it makes you want to give up knowing that Pretty Boy Swag is getting national airtime while people like Wax, Hopsin, R.A. The Rugged Man etc. Will most likely go unnoticed by the majority.

Pretty Boy Swag is bringing in millions, while the lyrical surgeons who put their heart and mind into every single syllable of every single line are given the cold shoulder.

I seriously considered jumping off my balcony, that's how awful this song was.

Please, if you're like me and you're generally good at avoiding radio-hiphop, I strongly urge you to avoid this song at all costs.
