Man even though its almost been a day, this shit hit like a ton of bricks.

Had a whole group of homies just sitting around smoking and drinking to Nate's music for hours straight, and as good as the music was, and as dope as some of the lyrics are, not one person was able to smile even once.

Nate was a fucking good dude. It hurts because he should have had so much more in him.

We've got nothing but LOVE for Nate Dogg. Nate's in my top 5 artists of all time in any genre.

Fuck man. Hurts to have another brother go out so soon. Again, this got ridiculous 10 years a go, and its still happening today. Fuck.

If heavens got a ghetto, he's there right now with Tupac and Eazy.

RIP brother Nate.

Yeah man, they were. The 2 strokes left him with partial paralysis, some brain damage, and he spent time on assisted breathing. He had a lengthy stay in the hospital, 24 hour monitoring I'm assuming. That will run you in the 100 thousands at least, depending on how long the stay was. that's not including medicine, rehab/therapy, a motorized wheelchair, etc.

Medical expenses blow...

^^100k??

I was thinking more, like 500k.He was worth between 10-20 mil.So I doubt he needed money. His house was worth at least a mill,so if he did need it,he would prolly sell it,he didnt,so again,I doubt he needed it.

PS:This discussion is stupid anyways, man died, there`s nothing we can do about it,I feel kinda bad arguing about his financial state.

I meant 100 thousands if not millions, not $100,000 exactly.

I'm pretty sure nobody would have let Nate starve.

My family is fairly well to do..My dad brings home the majority of the money. He has a brother who is well not well off...out of a job. He isnt going to pay for his everyday expenses or medical bill. He always says though he would never let anybody starve but basically you can't blindly support someone else. If Nate Dogg was homeless...I'm sure Eminem would have let him stay with him. If he was going hungry. I'm sure Eminem would have gave him food.

But to think Em or anyone of Dre, Snoop, 50, or etc should pay all his medical bills or something like that is asking way too much.

Surely Em has some unreleased material with Nate.Should release it but never gonna happen unless it involves money and interscope.Bet there tearing there hair out when he does freestyles and songs from years ago that leak.

My condolences and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.”

Awesome Em, where were you when he had to ask for donations from fans to pay his medical bills? And not just Em, but every big hiphop figure. If they were really friends with Nate, they'd have taken care of him when he was down. I'm not saying that's why he died, I'm not blaming anyone for his death, but it's messed out how all these rappers are saying "RIP Nate, he was a good friend" when they couldn't have given him a tiny fraction of their millions a couple months ago. Makes me mad...

Exactly what I was thinking.

Read my post.

I don't pay my Best Friends medical bills. Why should there be a double standard with Em?

You think if Nate REALLY needed help that they would have helped? YES! But from people not NATE asking? Those are probably just looking for a handout themselves. It's easy to spend money thats not yours i guess,

Nate never asked. If he never asked. Back the fuck off.

These are true tho.Stop arguing like Em is suppose to help everyone with money(Nate,Detroit etc).It wasn't even his best friend or anything, not like Proof or Royce anyway.Kuniva even said last time they talked with Nate was in 06.I'm sure he appreciated him, cared of him as a friend and loved his music like we,the fans like it too. Some of y'all act like u actually donated anything smh.

Nobody here actually knows what happened...but I think we can all agree that his friends in the business either DID or should have helped him out financially if he needed it. Especially when you take into consideration all the money nate helped all these rappers make. 80 percent of the singles nate was on in the past 10-20 years had to of been top ten tracks....HAD to of been man...

I have a hard time believing dude was so close to all these artists...or at least dre, snoop.em and D12...and sat in a hospital bed broke. That tweet about needin money from fans sounds bogus. I just feel like these all these artists should have been more vocal about his issues...rallying fans together...possibly releasing a greatest hits album...with some bonus tracks with unreleased nate dogg vocals and verses from current "big" artists. Thats just one idea off the top. But none of them spoke about it in the public at all. that could be because of nate himself tho. if you noticed, there is no pictures of him after having the stroke. he might not have wanted to be seen like that.

I think I'm going to make a mix cd of his best work for everyone here on TR. actually its for myself but I may as well upload it here too.
