There"s hundreds of them. It's actually one of the most overdone concepts in hip hop. It's gotten really repetitive.

But Lupe's is dope, he adds a twist to it. It's one of my favourite songs of his ever.

In recent years, these are some well known ones.

Snoop Dogg ft. Dr. Dre - Imagine.

Jadakiss - What if

50 Cent - What If

My favourite all time version of this song is Fredro Starr's version of it. It's probably one of the most popular songs in the NY tunnel.

Then of course there is arguably one of the greatest songs ever made in Nas and Lauryn Hill's 'If I ruled'.

The New York Times - "Lloyd Banks may have stealthily become the most important rapper in New York".

Crips never occurred no Bloods to attack them
Matter of fact no hood to attack in
Somalia is a great place to relax in
Fred Astaire was the first to do a backspin
The Rat Pack was cool group of black men
That inspired five white guys called The Jacksons
Eminem fitted in but then again he inspired a black rapper tryin to mimic him
And that’s what really rose up out of Michigan, the sign of white rapper by the name of 50 Cent, ha!

etc... (all of the song is like that...)

Nas did a song with a backward concept ''Rewind'' and I think this is on close level to that

Eminem did a similiar thing with Airplanes II i guess

Any other rappers with similar type of songs? cause damn they amazing

I'm off to work now...

Why do you have "Free Classthe_King!!!" in your signature??? What happened to him?

One of my favorite songs by him, top 5 best songs of the year so far. I think down the road it will be remembered as one of the best hip-hop songs.

Hell no this is no where close to Rewind. It's dumb, it's just what-ifs and there really wasn't much clever. It's a weak over-done concept. The only dope part was the first part of the hook.

Plus I don't wanna hear about all this "poor us" stuff. Yeah maybe one of my ancestors was a slave, that sucks, but we don't get over racism by continuosly pissing and moaning about it.
