Yesterday. They searched me, 'cause I'm Arabic, and I look like a ''thug'' apparently. Honestly, I got used to it... I've been facing racism almost my whole life, eventually it gets normal to you.

Over here in the Netherlands where I live, my ethnicity is in a real bad light. Aside of the fact that everybody associates Arabs and Muslism with terrorism (my race and religion), they also associate Moroccans (my second nationality) with thieves and drug dealers.

So you could imagine how life would be as a Moroccan Arab, who's religion is Islam, in the Netherlands.

Seriously? Shit, I've never witnessed anything that bad in Bristol (or Newcastle, for that matter).

I fucking hate that Freedom of Speech bullshit - people only use it when it suits them. Basically just an excuse to be prejudice.

Can't say I've ever experienced racial abuse - never anything worse than racial banter (and that's only if I'm the only white guy there lol).
