Why is that supposedly smart people don't realize that TALENT is not what it takes to be successful. Yes, it should not be this way, but IT IS. WHY? There is plenty of reasons why and you should know them. Now give these talented rapper credit where it is due, but you got also give credit to the guy who has made it happen with much less talent. I would never in my life say Wiz Khalifa is the great rapper, however, he makes really enjoyable music when you are trying to relax and not do so much thinking. Rap takes a ton of attention, you need to hear most of the words in a verse or you lose context. But when you do pay attention, the song is phenomenal. But when I'm here flirting with this girl, you expect me to listen to the verse? No, I'll probably be rocking to the beat, maybe repeating a word or two in the song as I have a good time. You act like we play Wiz's songs with the lyrics sheet in our face trying to over analyze the shit of it. Naw son, I do not think that was his purpose in the first place.

oh n btw who's he a carbon copy of again?

I'm going to have to ignore everything you just wrote because not once in my comment did I mentioned anything about only listening to "smart" music. I listen to Daniel Bedingfield, and he doesn't make "smart" music with enthralling lyrics. But, he HAS talent, unlike this moron. Also, I said he's a carbon copy of someones STYLE, not their person or personality. Who? That's easy, Soulja fag.

Don't talk to me about party songs and how you don't want to analyze a verse while flirting. Is it really hard to make a song that doesn't sound like you're a mentally incompotent drug addict? Is it really hard to actually have rhythm in your voice? Or not sound like you're high, and destroy an entire amazing beat?

Talent comes in many ways buddy.

Exactly, talent does come in many ways. Simply making it and being famous can be considered a talent.

I never said smart music, I said smart people, insinuating that you are intelligent. Re-read that sentence if you like.

anyways this convo is going no where, I'm done with it.
In conclusion, I enjoy his music for what it is and nothing more. I don't claim he's anything special but he has a unique style with some great beats that can sometimes be enjoyable to listen to.

I'm not arguing with you man, in case that's how it came off. I guess to each his own. I just don't expect people like you to listen to stuff this bad.

well like you said you dont want always listen to smart people, I dont always listen to talented rappers. I'm real diverse with my music choice, I can like any type of song for different reasons.

It did come off as an argument, but in a debate sense which is cool cool but I didn't want to head down that road, since I got tons of things I need done.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but i didn't think Black and Yellow was terrible. :facepalm

Don't get me wrong it's nothing amazing but, especially if you're placing him next to Soulja Boy, it could be worse.
