Saigon - GSNT... Beats too loud?

I gave his album a listen a couple of days ago and I noticed how loud the beats are. Sometimes his voice is simply quite hard too hear clearly imo. I tried to download a different rip but the problem was the same.

Am I alone with this one?

The album's moderately awesome (Mainly because Corbett and Just Blaze kill the production) but the mastering is annoying as fuck on alot of songs. The "Vocal Booster" feature on iTunes helped wonders though.

I tried that vocal booster thing on my Ipod too but didn't really find it useful. It's kinda sad cus the album would have been awesome if it wasn't for that. I think this is the first time ever I've listened to an album and thought it wasn't that great because of the beats being too loud

Right-Click song you wanna boost on iTunes --> "Get Info" --> "Options" Tab --> "Equalizer Preset" --> Vocal Booster
