He wrote most of his songs, not all though. And I don't know if he composed songs all by himself, but he was involved in them to a very high degree. :y:

Eminem was involved in all phases of making a record , that proves my point .

What more can you be involved with other than writing the lyrics yourself and then be a part of creating the music? It's not like Em produced all of his own records. And the ones he has produced he often had help from Resto or Bass or Dre etc. Em's gotten a LOT of beats from Dre. Then Em "just" wrote the lyrics. So I don't see your point.

Don't really care to argue right now, but its a known fact that MJ has the highest grossing album of all time and i'm not sure but i think he has sold over 700 albums.......Hmm if something completely sucked then a thing wouldn't get that big... choose better words next time please.... If you want to compare artists then Em is just a small insect compared to MJ.

After Off The Wall, he composed and wrote the majority of his songs. He had producers with him yes, but ALL OF THEM say that Michael played the biggest role in making the music. The dude was a perfectionist when it came to music, every producer has basically said this "Mike paid attention to every little detail in his songs, if it didnt sound exactly like he wanted it to sound he had it changed."

Also wtf at the guy saying Fame > Thriler/Bad. I know you may like Fame better, but no one in their right mind would say it was better than Thriller/Bad. Musically, Thriller/Bad shit a ton of bricks on Fame, everyone including Lady Gaga (And her non crazy fans) acknowledges that. Maybe its been a while since you listened to these albums (Or maybe thats your taste in music, I can respect that)

@BILI

I know I'm beating a dead goat, but are you really going to tell me that this voice sucks? MIchaels voice is praised by everyone.

Wrong on all accounts.

Well done.

His last album was released in 2001. That's 8 years before he died. It was viewed as a complete failure, 50 Cent sold just as much with his debut. He died with over $500 million in debts. Well done at being a complete moron.

His last album was a good (but has some "eeh" songs) album and it still outsold GRODT, a hot album from a hot artist. MJs public image had been brutally murdered and had an album that was 75% ballads and yet he still outsold one of the most commercials artists of the 2000s. Also, how is over 10 million albums sold worldwide a failure? If this album had been released by any other artist it would have been viewed as the next Thriller.

Besides, his debt was officially been paid off, after his death he made enough money to get rid of his debt and leave his kids quite wealthy. (Ok, MJ was a dumbass when it came to spending money, I'll give you that).

Thank you. I didn't have to write it.

I love it when idiots call someones career dead when they haven't released music because their not in their prime anymore.

I guess the likes of the Paul McCartney, their careers are dead too and no one cares about them? No...they simply just don't release music because they've moved on from that. A career is dead when there is no demand for someone. If MJ released any music, it would be big news.

As for MJ, according to the moron, his career was dead and no one cared about him? Right. That's why his "This is it" shows sold out in world record time and had the most tickets sold for a concert event ever.

Nice. Idiot.

The MJ hate here is absolutely EMBARRASSING.

But anyone saying that Eminem is as big as MJ was in his prime, wow. Go speak to your parents, go read a little, go watch some videos, open your ears and eyes and see.

Eminem is a superstar. Michael Jackson was beyond that. It's no comparison at all other than on an Eminem forum.
