the shitty flow of some "established" artists

so I am wondering how some of these established rappers have shitty/offbeat flows (I'm not gonna point out the obvious ones like Waka Flocka but ppl like Jeezy [you know he overdubbs his shit ten times to fill all the offbeat pauses], 50 Cent, Redman, even Eminem's flow on his Slim Shady EP/LP are slightly offbeat at times) but none of them get shit for it. I was arguing w some one and they said they get away with it because they are "established" artists. my thinking is that if theyre doing it now, they were doing it back then, so how did they get noticed if their flow was a lil off and noone was like aw man i can't listen to that shit... I have always said flow shouldnt be a make or break on an artist but the way ppl act is seems like it is.. but then you have some1 like Jeezy slobber over a track n ppl go crazy. anyone care to give their two cents?

okay thanks guys. i appreciate the sarcasm just as much as everyone else...but yall still havn't answered the question. why is flow sooo fucking important if somebody like Jeezy can ruin a great beat with a offbeat flow n still be popular.
