Guys says he's "keeping the streets hot" with his mixtapes but honestly...
FreeSpeech wrote: He may have some big local followings, IDK, but his most popular mixtape on Datpiff has like 10,000 listens. Not downloads, listens. And it's been uploaded for 4 years. Mac Miller's mixtape from like a week ago has 400,000+ listens and 200,000+ downloads.

When he made the wodka commercial, in order to avoid critics, he used a N.E.R.D. song. What a coward!FreeSpeech wrote:Everyone STFU about Recovery vs. MBDTF.

Hiphopdane wrote:I think Eminem's vision alone will make the label something great. He obviously cares more about putting out great albums than making money (although he probably wouldn't mind if his artists made one or two radio friendly tracks). Only problems now are Cashis who is one of most boring rappers I can think of and D12... Well, D12 will sell quite a lot but they aint a group that would stand a chance without Eminem. Kuniva and Swifty make good verses once in a while and the beats are in safe hands thanks to Mr. Porter but they still havn't made anything mind blowing and I refuse to believe they will ever do.
Having said that they are a label for the future and I can only see them go on to become even bigger as long as it is Eminem's sober ears that sign the artists and not some business man. Right now they just need to put out some good albums and regain credibility. They have already shelved too many artists and havn't really put out anything significant in years.
